Halloween Pumpkin Jelly

Hello everybody, it’s Halloween!

Today I would like to show you how i did this Halloween pumpkin jelly (They doesn’t taste pumpkin though. They just look like craved spooky pumpkin 😂😅).

I’m using this Jack-O-Lantern silicone mould bought from  BakeryNCupcakes.com .

I used this agar agar powder but i reckon jelly powder would be better. Me & my friends had tested it & we all have that same opinion that jelly texture will be more better than agar texture for this snack.

Basically, i just follow the instructions stated behind the packet.

  1. Mix one packet of agar powder and 250 gm 100 gm fine sugar together. (Don’t have a sweet tooth, thus reduced the sugar. I think 100 gm is more than enough. )
  2. Pour the mixture into 1 litre 900 ml of cool water. Dissolve the mixture with low heat, stir & bring to boil.
  3. Add in 100 ml of orange cordial / squash.
  4. Pour the solution into the moulds.
  5. Chill in refrigerator until set.
  6. Pop the agar / jelly out of the mould.

Then the creative part ⇾ Fill the hollow part with chocolate flavoured shell topping. I think it makes the snack looks nicer & at the same time enriching the taste.
